The Castlegar Rebels urgently require host families to provide lodging and meals to out-of-town players aged 16 to 20 during the junior hockey season.
Host families are asked to:
Provide a private bedroom for the billeting athlete or other accommodations that afford reasonable privacy. Provide a prepared evening meal and make available appropriate foods so that players may prepare their own breakfasts, lunches and snacks.
Blend the billeting player into family life as much possible and provide adult guidance.
Families who open their homes to these players receive $500 monthly compensation and a seasons ticket to our home games. Our team screens
both players and prospective host families to match personality and backgrounds and to ensure a positive and rewarding billet experience for both parties.
